1897  We pitched camp on the south side, on what is known as Louse Town.
1938  We squatted on the hill above Lousetown, described by the Sourdoughs as "The lousiest place on God's earth, for any day the lice might walk away with them buildin's."
1963  Poking through the ruins of Lousetown, the old red light district across the river from Dawson City, antique collector Gradelle Leigh of Fairbanks came up with a real find.
